Who We Is….
On a cold wintery day, a dream began….
A thought of breaking away from corporate sponsorships and running with our own thing. Something we will create for once…. Our own brand and identity, no company picking our logo and colors to only pay for the jerseys and not our beer…
Thats where our story begins. Multiple logos and color schemes. Having to add a “A” to our name so our league would approve of our logo… and then one murky day the Queen City Seamen were born!! Rockin’ that sexy Mid 90’s NY Islanders Fisherman logo in the sexy Hartford Whalers late 90’s Navy and Kelly Green scheme.
From the moment we decided on that first jersey, we were the sexiest team in Western New York. An instant hit with the 7 returning OG’s. Next came the onslaught of groupies that wanted to don’ these beautiful sweaters. Always trying to slide into our DMs, originally we accepted everyone like a young male slut just trying to get it in. And behold our first roster of 20+ players. A new and unusual thing for a team used to only having 6 skaters and a goalie.
Now we can drink on the bench with friends rather than alone cause we only had one sub!! A dawn of a new fuckin’ day and a new outlook for our team. Instantly becoming a family and caring about drinking too much, the party became more of the game…
